It works. It was cheap. I don't particularly like the retractable part as much as I thought I would. The wire feels like it will break easily. But, you get what you pay for - it's okay for the price.

I bought this item a while ago and it still works great. I've see this product at stores like best buy and fry's at like 10 bucks, which is ridiculous. I love that its retractable and simple. I also really liked that I received it in a really short time.

I paid $3 for this over 8 months ago and the product is still going strong. Sound quality is good although sometimes I have to turn the plug a little to get the highest quality. (One side of the sound will cut out but a simple adjustment brings it back).

I bought my first Nano this year, actually my first Ipod ever as well. I'm still not accustomed to using the ear buds much since I never wore a walkman much before, and I also don't find much time that allows me to use them either. So, I bought the car auxiliary cable adapter so I could enjoy my investment more in the car. It was definitely a wise investment!

Family lives 3 hours away and I took it with me so that I could listen to audio books in the car or music that I had downloaded. This lil adapter alone convinced me my Nano was a keeper! I loved being able to enjoy it in the car thanks to the adapter.

My only complaint is that if you have a hard cover on your Nano (I have a small plastic fitting one), the rim keeps the adapter from plugging completely in. I have to remove the cover to get the adapter to fit snug. If it's not in all the way, you will hear static or the volume will sound low. But that's really my only complaint and it is a minor one.

A cheap, but quality investment, if you don't have much time to use ear buds or you are in the car a lot! I love it.

All things considered, this is the best purchase I have ever made through Amazon. The under $2.00 total price (including shipping) is amazing. Shipping was done in a timely fashion, and the adapter has worked flawlessly.

This is defintely a five-star product.
