This is a hard plastic, clip-on protector. The controls are easily accessed; but there is no protection for the clip or back. This little hard-case is exactly what I expected and needed. I purchased a few just to have if I broke one.

This case provides a little more bulk to the nano, making it a little easier to hold on to. The clip still functions perfectly. My only complaint is that may case arrived with marks in the plastic leading me to believe it had been used and returned by a previous customer. But for the price, it's not worth worrying about it.

The case cracked when i put it on. Waist of money i would advice you to buy something different. and the case only covers the front of the iPod not the back.

There really isn't much you can cover with a case on the 6th Generation iPod Nano. My last Nano was a 4th generation, and loved the case. The case for the 6th doesn't have a whole lot of stability, felt like it was ready to drop off whenever I pushed any of the buttons. I also am unable to connect the cord to allow me to listen in my car...for that reason I'm not going to use the case. If you are someone who only uses the iPod with headphones. It might work better for you.
