1How is it there are not bad reviews?  Oct 02, 2010 By Ken
I'll keep this brief as this isn't worth anymore of my time.
It's not waterproof. The seal where the wire goes inside the unit and plugs into your player is cheap. Even though mine lasted about 1 minute before drowning my zune, you could tell it's so cheaply made, if it doesn't leak immediately, i'll leak soon.
I was under the impression you could change the earplugs with an aftermarket headphone, due to the suggested items to purchase with this, but that isn't true. Oh.. i should also mention, on my first lap in the pool, my ear plugs came out. At first i thought this is why the music stopped. Anyways.. it's not just a $24 "try it" thing. Your player is at risk. argh.
I've already written a bad review on this item, but it magically disappeared. I'd like to see how long this review stays up here.

good luck.

5amazingly comfortable and great for my workout  Apr 27, 2010 By K. kliegl "kat"
i just tried out these headphones and i was really impressed! they were amazingly comfortable and great for my hour workout. i plugged in my zune and swam away. the earbuds stayed in place and gave great sound under my swim cap. i loved the window in the armband which allowed me to change songs/volume levels without having to stop swimming. I'd recommend these headphones to anyone wanting to have continuous music while swimming laps. they worked great. this was the best $30 i've ever spent!

4Great deal for the dollar!  Apr 12, 2010 By Faith Mendelson "TexnPrncss73"
This morning I finally got a chance to try out my new toy and I LOVE it! The music quality appears to be good (as good as it can be with water in your ears along with the earphones...) which made my workout MUCH more enjoyable. Today I spent much of the day messing about with the logistics of the armband though. I first tried it attached to my arm as recommended but apparently my 'guns' aren't big enough as it would slide down to my elbow after a lap or two. My next attempt was to secure it behind my goggle straps on my head. While I'm sure this was all kinds of fashionable it seemed to work quite well and will probably be how I use it in the future. The lifeguard offered to assist me to get it secured to the back of my suit straps and while this did work, the volume increased with each stroke of my shoulderblades. Bottom line...great to have decent quality music while swimming and your body-type will determine if the arm-band is too big, too small or just right but overall- for $30? Total bargain!! My iPod stayed dry and I stayed motivated- win, win!

4it is what it says it is  Mar 22, 2010 By Mary E. Olsen "stonee"
I ordered the waterproof mp3/ipod holder for swimming laps, it is waterproof as it states up to ten feet. No water touched my mp3/ipod. One problem was that the earphones were shorted out from the beginning so the music wasn't great quality. The company was good enough to say send it back and we will get a new out to you. I haven't gotten it yet but am very excited. The ear phones aren't the best though it's hard to keep them in your ears while kickturning on the walls of the pool, I have been experimenting with the ear peices it seeems to help a bit. All in all no complaints for 20 dollars its a great product.

2Waterproof Armband Bag  Mar 20, 2011 By aljohns
The bag slips out of the yellow band so it sometimes drags and you have to stop and put it back. Also the arm band is too large for my arms so it's loose and comes undone from time to time. For the price, it's good enough but not great.
