Advantages of this Tiny i10 vs Sony iPod Transmitter:
(1) This i10 is able to stream music to 2 EDR receivers. Sony iPod Transmitter can stream to only 1 receiver.
(2) i10 includes an Apple Authentication chip that will authenticate with iPod/iPhone/iPad. Authentication process enables local volume adjustments on the iPod/iPhone/iPad to change the volume at the remote receiver. Sony iPod Transmitter does not have an Apple Authentication chip and because of this there is no local volume adjustment possible to change the volume at the remote receiver.
(3) This i10 is less than 2/3 the size of Sony's iPod Transmitter, making this a better fit for your iPod/iPhone/iPad. i10 industrial design is a better match for the elegantly designed iPods/iPhones/iPads.

Finally someone makes such a wonderful bluetooth music splitter that works
really well with my iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

The i10 pairs and links easily to my jawbone jambox and motorola s10-hd,
sending music from iPhone or iPad to both the jambox and s10-hd at the same time.

The range is awfully good, as I can walk around the house with either the jambox or s10-hd, and still hear the music nicely without interruption.
Also, I can change songs from my s10-hd, so that's a nice feature.

Higher price than usual, but worth it for the capability to send music to 2 devices at once, quite a bit less than twice the price of 2 separate devices.

Great device, highly recommended.
And also, I like the really small size of this device, just got to make sure I don't lose it.

I have purchased this item about 3 wks ago. Worked out really great with my Ipod Classic and Bluetooth devices. Definitely can stream music on both speakers. Also, liked the stealth design as small as a quarter. Does not consume much of my battery for 5 hours straight (maybe it's because I have the classic). No drop connection or static. +++ Ditto on most of the positive reviews for it workmanship and quality. Kudos to Kokkia!

This works pretty well, though I have to disconnect and reconnect it a few times to get it to power on, even with the iPod on. Then once it connects no major issues. You must wear on the right side of your body though otherwise the connection can cut out, especially when outside where there's no place for the Bluetooth to bounce off of.

This is a great device when combined w/ Blue Tooth head phones. You can walk around the gym and never get hung up, or have your ears pulled! Little finicky about hooking up to two devices, but once connected, works beautifully. Does use ipod battery power, but w/ a classic ipod it doesn't pull too much.

Works fairly well! I'm able to stream to my 2 bose wireless bluetooth enabled speakers. Very easy to get it setup and connected. Make sure your recievers support the default pairing codes (i.e. 0000) especially if you can't set that on the receiver.
