remember, they are airtight Jul 19, 2010
By Stephen J. Barr These are in general good earbuds, and the mic works well. I haven't had too many complaints from people on the other end of the line. They are built well and seem to be reasonably durable after ~1-2 months of use. The bass is quite strong on these headphones, so you may end up readjusting your balance when using these. The noise cancellation is good, but it is so good that your voice doesn't sound the same while talking, and that takes some time to get accustomed to.
Remember, these headphones form an airtight seal with your eardrum. I was using these on a plane and fell asleep during the flight, including the descent. I woke up midway through the descent and experienced the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I felt like I had needles running from my ears through my neck and into my shoulders. My ears did not get a chance to equalize and the next 2 days were brutal. The moral of the story is, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP WITH THESE IN WHILE FLYING. In fact, I wouldn't use them in a situation where your altitude is changing more than +/- 1500 ft. If you do use them while flying, take them out and let your ears equalize periodically.
Good luck!

Don't buy if you have a Android phone Jan 31, 2011
By L. Cresswell I bought these for a simple headset for my cell. once I plugged them into my cell, it flipped out my phone and started playing music automatically. Also would not let me make any calls. I guess I will have to stick with Bluetooth and use these with my MP3 player.

Just got them and using with an iPhone 4---but! Apr 05, 2011
By Toni They sound awesome so far. So much bass for earbuds. It's wonderful! I have very tiny ear canals and regular ear buds have never fit. For this pair I put on the smallest of the rubber tips. I'm a nurse so I know to that to insert you need pull back on your ear first then put them in. Remember, they are supposed to create a seal and not sound muffled so try inserting them a few times until you get them just right. Also, the seal blocks out any outside noise (which I think is the whole point of wearing headphones) but if you sing along to music or you breathe hard you will hear yourself because it equates to putting your fingers in your ears. Sometimes wetting the rubber just a little can help with the seal. I'm giving these headphones a few days. Doing housework or walking to classes was when I've had the most trouble with ear buds just falling out so I'm going to see how well these go and then I will update. If I do have trouble I'm considering the M6P-BK model that goes over the ear. This pair only got 4 stars because the cord is a little short but the thickness and shirt clip are nice features. BTW, I have an iPhone 4 and I'm able to receive and make calls using the microphone. Everyone can hear me just fine. I originally didn't buy these for that feature. I thought the mike wasn't going to work with 4th generation iPhones so it's an added bonus for me. Update 4/26: Not compatible with iPhone 4. The mike is causing the volume to go up and down when the wire is moved. So it works great sitting down, but not for walking. They do stay in my ears and the sound quality is fantastic so I'm purchasing the M2-BK models that don't have the mike. My son is getting this pair for his iPhone 3g.

doesn't cost much but is overpriced anyway Nov 03, 2010
By zz1972 i don't care about sound quality. i care that a pair of cheap headphones let me have phone conversations without breaking within a month. the good news is that they never broke. the bad news is i never used them enough to give them the chance - the microphone is so poor that no one could understand what i was saying. in a word: worthless.
