My car simply spits out the adapter. My previous one did not do this. Avoid at all cost. It's a drag to have to go to a UPS store in order to get a refund.

I bought this product because of the price. It works but the quality is very poor. A hissing, muffled sound comes out when connected to an iPhone. My 2004 car has no aux jacks or bluetooth so I purchased this to make use of the stereo system but was disappointed. Buyers may want to check out the Belkin auto cassette adapter which seemed to work better for me..

Buy this, and as soon as you get it, open it up, and in the lower right hand corner are three little plastic gears. Pull 'em out and toss 'em. Screw the thing back together, and it'll work like a charm, and cost you a tenth of what the name brand ones do!

I bought this product because I wanted to listen to my ipod in my car during a long road trip. The quality was really bad and fuzzy, but I thought I could handle it. By the second time I used it, it was unbearable. I ended up going to Walmart and purchasing another for $20.
