5Panasonic Earphones  Aug 30, 2010 By Ray "Gadget Guy"
I've had these earphones for 5 months and having used Sony, Pioneer and Audio Technica, these provide the best sound for the price. The bass is deep and rich in music on my iPod. Audio podcasts are crystal clear as well. Highly recommended for under $30. Sony are not well constructed and broke into pieces after just two weeks. Pioneer didn't produce very lifelike bass and treble while the Audio Technica just kept falling out of my ears (they're not well designed to fit in the ear).

5Simply the best  Dec 22, 2010 By guidstarrr
I bought these headphones as a stand in while my much pricier logitech UE metrofi 270's were in repair. Well, as it turns out, they are way more bad-a$$. The first thing that you realize is that they are INCREDIBLY comfortable but do block out a considerably high ammount of outside noise. The sound itself is comparable to headphones 4x their price.. rich and deep bass, driving mids and crystal clear trebel. and the kicker? I have had them for 3x longer than my metrofi headphones and have not had a single problem with them. No shorts. No faulty equipment. No wasting my time with trying to get a replacement because they can stand up to what i throw at em. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to you so that you can stop wasting your time with customer service reps and become enveloped with that new album you just bought.

5Great value, great sound  Feb 21, 2011 By Rich Wang
I lost the buds on my other Panasonic ear phones, which were a fantastic value at under $20, so rather than spend half that money replacing the buds, I went for these, which are a higher model up. The look and feel (design) with these are noticeably better than the last pair, and the sound quality is crisp and balanced making it a great value at this price point. The biggest sell for me however is the low profile of the buds once firmly secured in your ear canal. I wear these a lot for snowboarding and cycling, and with the bulkier ear buds, wind noise is a major factor.

5Great budget earphones that actually fits well!  Aug 16, 2011 By James Lee
This earphone isn't perfect but... at it's price point, I still think this headphone deserves 5-stars.

Ergonomics -
In the past, I've had a lot of trouble getting in-ear headphones to fit properly in my ear.
With most of them, it was always a pain getting it in my ear with a decent fit and once in, they were eager to fall out again.
For a long while now, I gave up on in-ear headphones and just stuck to the cheap earbuds that come with ipods and other mp3 players.
Perhaps it is the shape of the housing, or maybe it's the shape of the earbud tip(no one seems to mention that the tip forms an oval shape, not unlike the klipsch image headphones), but in any case this set is easy to put on, creates a nice consistent seal, stays in place, and is fairly comfortable.

Sound quality -
Keep in mind, I have several headphones ranging from under $10, to $100, to $400+... so its hard to judge the sound quality fairly.
On the good side,
There was a generous amount of hard hitting bass, the mid's weren't completely drowned out, and the high's weren't at all harsh or sibilant.
This is more than I can say for most headphones near this price range.

On the downside,
The most immediately noticeable lacking quality compared to my $400 open full size headphone is the clarity, air, and ease at which the music flowed. The comparison of course isn't really fair though..
Its like comparing tv's. Its easy to see the shortcomings when you compare it side by side against a better model at the store, but it still looks quite nice in your living room. All in all, I'm still able to enjoy music on-the-go for under $20.

Others notes -
- Microphonics (cable noise) are present but not terribly annoying.
- Right-angle headphone connector! Its a small detail, but I love this fact; I think right angle connectors are vastly superior to straight-connectors.
- Pretty decent isolation; good for airplanes and buses.. please don't wear them on the streets!
- Comes with basic accessories (3 tips S/M/L).. nothing to write home about
- I got the red color; looks good.

5These puppies are awsome!  May 13, 2011 By saltwaterdave
First, be it known that I almost never take the time to write a review -- a failure on my part because I use them all the time to decide which items to buy. And that's exactly how I came to buy these 350 earbud headphones from Panasonic. But rather than the silver, which had a 3 and a 5 review, I read the reviews for the black 350 SLIMZ which were pretty impressive. I just got these today and sat here this evening doing an actual test of these Panasonics against a $100 pair of Shure earbuds I already owned and have not been impressed with. I played these through a range of high quality MP3 music on my Samsung Omnia II which has really good sound via its native media player. I listened to 20-30 songs with a wide range of acoustics, switching the two sets of headphones out. Sounds a little crazy, I know, but I really wanted to listen to the difference and see if the high quality sound reported in the reviews was accurate. The Panasonics put the Shure to shame. An excellent tonal range with great bass. Voices clear and even, and high and middle tones very true. The Shure set has very thin sound with very little bass. I would like to say that with the Panasonics it sounded like Alison Krauss was behind me singing Down to the River to Pray, but it was really like she was inside my brain. And Kim Richie's Come Around with deep bass was very near perfect! Sound isolation is also excellent -- much, much better than the Shure. The only possible issue with these Panasonics is that the cables are thinner and lighter, so we'll see if they can survive my tough travel use. The Shure set has cables that look about like coax and they're tough as a tank. But I would much rather buy 5 sets of the Panasonics if I have to than 1 of the Shure. For the ridiculously low price on these, they are fantastic!
