| | Description | WETBUDS are extremely lightweight earphones that offer excellent resistance to sweat for a music-powered workout or for other activities that may cause the body to sweat. Most earphones can't take the added moisture and will eventually short out, causing you to miss out on the music that often gets you pumpin', not to mention the cost of replacing them. Not WETBUDS; they keep you moving and grooving! | |

Finally! Dec 02, 2008
By John Wood Someone finally made sweatproof earphones that work! I can't count the number of earphones I've had short out on me during a workout (I tend to sweat like a pig), but these are proving to be a great buy: they're inexpensive; they're made of soft rubber which makes them comfortable to wear; the sound quality is very good; and they work.....5 stars from this gym rat!!

Truly Sweat Proof...Very Nice May 07, 2009
By A. E. Flores
"Marathon Workouts"
The product description says sweat proof...not great sound...They live up to the billing. I am a heavy sweater and am sick and tired of headphones crapping out on me 20 mins into a workout at the gym or long run. These perform very well, I work up a heavy lather and they are not affected one bit. As to the sound, they aren't the greatest, but I can live with that. I didn't by them for listening at home or work, they are simply my workout and running headphones and for those activities I am extremely pleased. I would not recommend these if you are looking for one headphone set for all purpose use, I think you'll be disappointed by the sound...which isn't that bad, but not that great. Recommended for heavy sweaters like myself and for working out. Giving this one 5 stars because they work as advertized and for the low price, you can't beat it!

Best Earbuds for Running. Oct 25, 2009
By Bud-Light Knight These don't require that foam cover to work. I hated when I would loose the foam cover on my old earbuds because all that sweat just made them so slippery when I ran. These earbuds don't require them and they stay put just fine when I run or even go into the sauna.

Great for Running - They Live Up to Their Description! Mar 31, 2010
By Michael T. Wolfgang
"runner mike"
I run all the time and sweat a lot. I had gone through dozens of headphones of all types and they all died on me, usually only after a couple of weeks of running. I had finally resorted to buying the cheap $2 sets from Walmart and always having a backup. Then I bought these headphones 11 months ago. They've been going strong ever since and I still wear them all the time. They're great! They stay in my ears just fine, but I can see how they might not fit in smaller ears. Also, as one might expect out of running headphones, the sound quality isn't the greatest. But I'd highly recommend these to any serious runner looking for sweatproof buds! Great product for the price!!

OW! OW! OW! Jun 25, 2009
By M. W. Townley Well, first with the good: The earbuds have a reasonable sound and seem like they would hold up pretty well. They have a rubbery coating that may very well shield them from problems caused by sweat. However: For me (a person with normal-sized ears... at least I think so), these quickly became painful to wear. They are simply too big for me. I'll admit that this is something that will not cause problems for everyone, but if you have a hard time with other similarly sized earbuds (e.g. PSP earbuds) then you may have problems with these too. In my case, I'll try to pass them on to my brother.
